FAQ

How do you ensure the health and well-being of the pets in your adoption program?

We have a rigorous screening process for potential adopters, including a home visit to ensure that the living environment is suitable for the pet. Before adoption, all pets receive a thorough medical examination, vaccinations, and any necessary treatments. We also provide ongoing support and advice to adopters to ensure the pets' continued well-being.

What is your policy on returning adopted pets?

We understand that circumstances can change, and we will always take back an adopted pet if the adopter is no longer able to care for them. We ask that they contact us as soon as possible so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

What is your organization's mission and how do you achieve it?

Our mission is to prevent cruelty, promote kindness to, and alleviate suffering of animals. We achieve this through our adoption program, education and outreach efforts, advocacy for animal welfare laws and regulations, and working with other organizations to provide resources and support for pet owners.

Can you provide examples of successful cases your organization has handled in the past?

We have successfully rehomed thousands of animals over the years, providing them with loving forever homes. We have also worked with law enforcement to rescue animals from abusive situations and provide them with necessary medical care and rehabilitation.

What steps does your organization take to advocate for animal welfare laws and regulations?

We work with local and national government officials to promote animal welfare legislation and regulations. We also participate in campaigns and initiatives that raise awareness about animal welfare issues and encourage individuals to take action to support animal protection efforts. Additionally, we provide resources and education to the public on ways they can advocate for animal welfare.

My husband and I adopted Lola a few weeks ago now , and has fitted in so well with us. The adoption process was seamless , was allowed to have a little walk with her on meeting her for the first time as well. The place is amazing and is a safe haven for these animals in need , so go on people adopt a animal and give them there forever home - there deserve it ! and keep up the excellent work x

What a remarkable place. This centre is a shining example of compassion and dedication towards animals in need. Since first visiting the centre many years ago, I have been impressed by the love and dedication shown to every animal by the centre's staff. The commitment to their well-being is truly commendable and the team of staff and volunteers are caring and highly knowledgeable. The centre's recent refurbishment was carefully designed throughout; providing a safe and comfortable environment for the animals under its protection. The centre now boasts an excellent charity shop and welcoming reception, very highly recommended.
