Plenty of parking. The covered parking is out the back but everywhere else is under trees Easy access into the shop and toilets that are a separate block Tranquil area to walk and to spot wildlife. I didn't make all of the paths but what I did were pretty decent but some were sandy and lose to walk on and some muddy areas too Varied habitats mean that you'll possibly see a lot of different birds but from what I discovered, there aren't any hides so prepare well for the weather The shop is pretty awesome selling everything from hot drinks to binoculars. You can even hire them if you don't have any or have left yours at home

Visited as was in area and was looking for a pleasant dog walk. Dogs only welcome on two specific trails. One on site which utilised a bridle path and one accessible by crossing over the main road. We took the second one which was the skylark trail - it was ok but nothing very interesting for our hound so we looped round to another bridle path on return journey. Nothing to distinguish the path from any others as far as we could see other than a single dog poo bin at the road junction. As we weren’t members of RSPB we had to pay for parking (£6 flat fee). Hot & cold drinks , ice creams and sweets were only refreshments on sale so if planning on spending day come prepared with food! All in all a bit of a disappointment if looking for dog friendly place to spend a few hours/day out though there were plenty of friendly staff and a well stocked gift shop.

Pleasant staff and clean loos. It was raining when we visited so not many birds about to be seen, but lots of birdsong.
