    2.5 miles from the Railway Station but loads to see along the way. A great place to visit any time of the year. I have never seen so many Lapwings in the same place before.

    Right next to road but the marshes are pretty and stretch up and along the estuary, lots of birders and some nice birds. Has a car park so can pull up for a little look :)

    Parked free and displayed our RSPB card. And our doggy was allowed with his leash on . We managed to get a list of 50 species. Pity the visitors centre was vandalized and the Porta loo,s were taken away. Lovely fresh air with a chilly wind off the sea. Had our picnic in the car . We will definitely go again soon.

    Great place, open and a vast area to discover. Egrets, Widgeon, Grey Geese, Canadians, Tufted Ducks, Coots, Moorhens, Swans, Sandpipers, Lapwing, Snipe, Oyster Catchers. Others too, but unsure what they were. A portaloo only by the start, so it's not like Leighton Moss for facilities but a great day out.. but please dog walkers, pick the poo up, like playing hopscotch getting around. Bloody disgraceful......
