A lovely quiet place for a quick walk. Easy parking across the road, and a variety of lovely scenery en route. Close to Woodbury making It a great base for a day hike, too.

Dog-friendliness: Restrictions apply during bird nesting season but as long as your dog is on a lead it's fine to bring them with. There is livestock on site, so dogs who are not good off leash or have limited recall should stay on the leash so the animals don't get harassed. Unless they find horses and cows boring then it's fine 🙂
