    The Arches is a beautiful venue with a unique look. The venue has a good level of wheelchair accessibility, and is easy to get to, with extensive parking nearby in the large car park opposite. The Travelodge that can be seen from the doors of the venue is a nice bonus! In terms of planning our wedding reception, the venue were very helpful, laid back and willing to accommodate our ideas, as well as provide helpful suggestions with aspects of the day we didn't have clear ideas about. The team there have plenty of experience of large events, and can cater for a real range of options. They can offer a wide selection of food options, whether you're looking for a three course dinner, or an at-table buffet, which we opted for. They were also able to deal with any issues that came up quickly. We had a ceilidh in the evening, which there was plenty of space for. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding day special!

    I attended a family wedding at the Arches last weekend. A happy occasion came to a very unpleasant end when we discovered at the end of the evening that some of the bride and bridesmaid's possessions (including bridal shoes and head dress) had been stolen. The cloakroom area was located next to an unlocked back door with no security. When we asked why they had located the cloakroom in an insecure position we were told that the door is normally staffed, but there was no explanation given for the lack of security on this occasion. We discovered later that other guests had alerted staff earlier in the evening to the presence of people loitering suspiciously outside, but no action was taken. The bride contacted the manager who was unconcerned and unapologetic in his reply. I emailed him to ask what changes they had made to prevent this happening to others in future and he did not even bother to reply. So rude and disappointing!

    The Arches Dean Clough Wedding Venue has been on our list of venues that we have wanted to shoot a wedding at for quite a while. We love old mills, anything industrial and Yorkshire. This venue ticks all those!  When Laura + Dave asked us to shoot their wedding photography at The Arches back in March we jumped at the chance! Diane and the team are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is gorgeous and the drinks are a very reasonable price. We hope to visit again in the near future

    Wow! This venue is amazing. I have photographed a few weddings at The Arches and love it. The building has a lot of character and can be styled to suit. The staff are so friendly and caring, and have always been so helpful. The food is delicious! The staff went out of their way to sort me a vegan meal out last minute after I stepped into cover another wedding photographer. From a photography point of view - the building itself has huge windows - letting in loads of natural light, and there's plenty of space for indoor photographs. There's also some great spots nearby for some characterful, industrial, urban photographs. There's some special unique features - like where the couple are able to cut their cake in one of the old window frames. I can't wait to come back soon!
