If I could give more stars I would. Feels like I’ve been given a completely different machine back- and only took 3 hours to fix! After 4 years of using a cheap janome it completely went wonky and the needle started hitting the foot, and the foot was misaligned. To then find out that the machines had the wrong foot stem since being bought, was a big surprise. But does explain why since going in for a service and repair, the dogs feed straight, it’s so much quieter, the thread isn’t catching the list goes on. Seems like I bought a dud and have been given something brand new. Brilliant job, will definitely bring it back again, should it need it.

Took my 60++ year old singer sewing machine (inherited in the 1980s) to Rod for a service. Whilst I had oiled it from time to time over the years, I’m pretty sure it had never had a full service - know it hasn’t since I’ve owned it lol. My oh my. It’s like a new machine!! Quiet, stitches run straight, beautifully clean. What a difference! All that and a turn around of just a couple of days at a very reasonable price. My machine has a new lease of life and hopefully will keep going for another 60 years (although I promise I won’t leave it so long to be serviced again). I would have no hesitation in recommending RP sewing machine repairs.

Rod has breathed new life into my well used singer sewing machine and overlocker. I can't believe how smooth and easy they are now! The sewing machine used to clunk, catch, pull and had a off centred needle..all fixed as part of a great value service. I will be back for sure

I rang first thing this morning. Made an appointment to take my machine over at lunchtime and by 4 o’clock this afternoon, my sewing machine had been serviced, and repaired all for an extremely reasonable fee. The gentleman who repaired it, also took the time to explain to me how to avoid the problem I had with it. I am a very happy customer and would have no hesitation in recommending this business.
