Went in to view a vehicle today, with a view to buy. Lovely VW Touareg. When I asked about a test drive, it was on the condition that I verbally agreed to buy the vehicle first. Otherwise I was told it was a waste of their fuel and valeting costs. I understand costs are rising; but I called them before I made the 35 mile trip, and at no point did they tell me test drives were conditional on agreeing to buy first. I would never commit to buy before driving!!! My wife and I have never been spoken to in such a disgusting manner by the older man who sat behind the desk. The other two members of staff were polite at least, but still struggled to see that I wasted MY FUEL and MY TIME to come and see the vehicle. As for the older gentleman, his inability to converse and reason left me flabbergasted. We had every intention of buying said vehicle today had the drive gone well; but their pushy tactics, condescending tone and general arrogance left me in a state of defiance that I would rather give my hard earned money to someone else!

ABS light came on after 400 miles which is just bad luck, Ben was very helpful and warranty covered issue with no problem, mechanic noticed rear inner tyre was worn and Ben sorted this without hesitation. Very pleased with Roydens. Cheers Ben
