I understand that this is a large group that runs multiple companies, and this review is only talking about the Royale Resorts side of the business. So please don't judge the whole company on this and look into it yourself if using another part of it. However the interactions I have had with Royale resorts are absolutley shocking. The company took over Hayling Island in March 2022. Since then I have attempted a number of times to call and email to cancel my holiday that was booked when the park was owned by Park Dean. I have still yet to manage this as it can take a number of calls to get through to speak to someone as the automated line states that they are to busy and ends the call. When you do get through they have been unable to help, or say they will call you back. I have finally managed to get through and spoke to someone that can help to which I am told they are unable to refund the whole amount as they can't refund deposits. I explained I never booked with them and have been trying to cancel my holiday since the park was taken over. This process is still going on, and I would happily advise any one looking to book a holiday to stay clear of the Royale Resorts part of the buisness. It's not worth the hassle when something goes wrong. Shame that the holiday part of the company is so badly run, with awful customer service. STAY CLEAR
