The wicker under the glass is split and broken. An expensive table only lasted 4 years despite being stored in a garage over winter. I appreciate with Covid there are difficulties but the customer service staff were very poor and far below my expectations. An offer was made of a new table for £350 but I only needed the top and they weren't willing to provide this. I thought we were trying to reduce the amount of waist going to landfill. The table/chairs were bought from Charlies of Shrewsbury whose customer service was worse.

Very disappointed with the 8 seater wentworth cube set. The set was not cheap and was only a few years old. The wicker under the glass on the table has all cracked and broken. I contacted Royal craft about it and to be honest it was a waste of time. Although sympathetic they were not interested in replacing it or offering any discount on a new one because of the issue. My feeling is that the weave was too tight putting too much stress on it as the chairs (at this moment in time) are not showing the same problems. My advise would be to avoid Royal craft unless you want to be replacing your nice new patio set every couple of years. Just to add to this. I have been contacted by the manager of this company although he neglected to put his name on the email regarding what they call my dishonest review and they have threatened legal action. They have said they are going to try to get google to take down my review. I have written proof to back up what I have written. Although on the opening page of their web site says in large print up to 5 year warranty you have to go to the small print to find out that it doesn’t cover the weave which is the main part of the set. They have also blamed the damage on the sun lol. The latest email basically says. You didn’t buy it direct from us so it’s nothing to do with them. You have to make your own mind up about dealing with this company but I certainly won’t be.

Purchased a Royalcraft Wentworth Cube Set and have been really pleased with it. Its very well made, sturdy and not at all flimsy. The table is pretty easy to put together by two people and the chars can be easily assembled by just one person. Instructions are quite clear. We're more than happy with our purchase.

Utter useless after sales and customer service. An 8 seater square rattan set was purchased for us in April 2016 from BHS before they were in financial trouble. We’ve used it perhaps twice as it was too large for our garden. We’ve since had the garden completely redesigned so it now fits. It’s been kept covered and in a sheltered area. We’ve come to use it now and have discovered two large flaws in the manufacturing of the rattan table top. Clearly an issue with the integrity of the plastic. I still have the receipt and you can tell bylooking at the set that it’s new and unused. I emailed Royalcraft who responded with ‘Unfortunately you will need to speak with BHS on this occasion as it was their own design and out of the 12 month warranty’. Quite unhelpful considering BHS have gone into receivership!!! I get about the warranty but as a gesture of goodwill something a little more helpful would have been appreciated. I’d not use this company and nor would I recommend if this is how their customer service operates.
