Sat in A&E for 5 hours having had or having a heart attack! I was taken in by ambulance from a doctors surgery after her concerns. Thought I would have had an ECG within 10 minutes as per guidelines, but this was done only after bloods showed there was something wrong with my heart, then they sprang into action! Not enough staff is the problem.

I went into the hospital a fully functional human being. I came out weeks later disabled and needed daily IV care for almost 2 years due to huge incurable infection and several botched surgeries. I had to attend clinics & wards for the best part of 2 years too, sometimes 3 times a week. No consideration towards my working life or finances. A routine operation turned into a living nightmare. I’ve since discovered the surgeon is no longer a member of the GMC. Speaks volumes. Totally ruined my life… although I can now walk a little way with aides. Fortunately I work in the family business, otherwise I’d had lost my job and almost certainly everything I take for granted. I’ve since moved away. I no longer rely on RVI or the trust for care or help. Thank god
