Thought it was appropriate to share information about my hospital admission to my abusive ex-partner for no reason and then lied about it for 6 months. If your medical information being confidential is important to you, I'd try to go somewhere else. So after complaining about them sharing my admission details with my abusive ex partner, apparently that wasn't a mistake and is completely within their procedures. So if you don't want an abusive partner finding about out about a hospital admission, don't attend here. Keep yourself safe, as the attending RUH will put you at risk, as it did to me

My mother received poor care here. The staff refused to accept responsibilities for their mistakes and shipped her our to another hospital with incomplete records to cover their tracks. Had to raise a safeguarding concern. There are some good staff members here, but an awful lot of incompetence and indifference. I know they are underpaid and over pressurised, but the care is simply not good enough. She felt like she was not respected.

Parking is a nightmare-especially for the disabled. There just isn't enough. Other than that the hospital is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful and there wasn't a long wait for anything

Simply amazing, the ICU staff saved my mum's life. I will forever be greatfull for the kind, caring and passionate staff. The consultants were also fantastic who worked there socks of to find a diagnosis. I never want her or anyone else I know to end up there but if they do I know they are in safe hands. Thank you to all the staff at the RUH who helped her.
