Ramsgate is straightforward pilotage in and out, once cleared by Port Control. The visitor's berths are easily accessible and the facilities clean and pleasant. The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful and the town a short walk for shops, cafes and more. It's a good stopover or longer and also has a good a selection of yard services.

Busy Coronation weekend, parking was at a premium. Seeing the "Pirate" ship was an unexpected bonus. Nice walk along the pier and perusing the shops, made for a nice break between destinations.

Lovely little area! Highly recommend Ramsgate over Margate much prettier and cleaner! Good views on a clear day also. Parking is a bit awkward but there are a few good spots around if you’re lucky to find them outside of the town.
