Royal Punjab Restaurant: the perspicacious connoisseur’s choice for mouthwatering Halal Pakistani food in the Midlands. Every dish was cultivated immaculately; potential diners will truly marvel at how each dish hits the proverbial spot with great aplomb. The starters were grilled to perfection - even the lamb tikka was tender: a rare feat for contemporaneous dining establishments. The main courses were wonderfully seasoned with individualised choice proffered for medium or spicy heat level. Two hours free car parking on site is available by entering one’s car registration number on the tablet at the main desk. The venue is stylish, modern and clean, having been recently built in 2020, with a 5/5 hygiene rating. Special commendation is awarded to the staff and particularly to the general manager Danish, for such a wonderfully hospitable welcome. A visit to this restaurant is a must not just for the locals of Walsall, but also for people living in the Midlands and everyone from the UK and far beyond!

The food we had was really good with big portions but they were not very well stocked on the menu items. The drinks menu is non alcoholic and we ordered alcohol free cider and beer but was told that they only had soft drinks available, so ordered 2 draught lemonades which were not bought to us until after we had finished our starters when we had to ask for them as they had not bought them to us, when they arrived it was not draught at all as stated on the menu but 2 cans of 7up which we had to pour into glasses, so not impressed by this to start. When ordering the mains, my partner ordered steak but again was told this was not available, he then chose something else off the grill menu to be told again they didn't have anything else other than the currys so he opted for this instead. This was a Saturday evening, so they should have been well stocked.
