Went to the observatory open day, and I was amazed!! There is a lot to see and learn, it was a shame we had to leave early as it was cold and raining outside The views from outside was breathtaking - you can see a lot of Edinburgh from up there. I will definitely go back sometime (maybe during spring or summer so hopefully the weather won't be too bad)
