My wife is an avid knitter and we dropped in there while staying in Hove from New Zealand. I had a very interesting long chat with the very nice young man (it’s a family business and he’s the son) while my wife selected her purchases. He is obviously extremely knowledgeable in his trade despite his youth. Mother is a hypochondriac who, unsolicited, will give your her health history in the first few minutes. (Visitors from New Zealand).

Wish i had read the reviews before i placed an order with this company. 2 weeks and still not recieved my wool and no reply to my emails. Money taken out of my bank account straight away though. Update, five weeks now and wont answer phone calls. Now 2 months and still nothing. Took my money and wont reply to my emails and dont answer my phone calls. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

There is a wealth of knowledge in the family that own this shop, and so much stock and great choices of yarn. However navigating around the shop is difficult as there are boxes everywhere and slightly hazardous, if it was always as spotless as it was on national yarn day it would be perfect with 5 stars. They're prices are very competetive for yarn compared with online stores and Hobbycraft. I am so grateful to have an indy yarn shop so close to home.

Terrible service and no systems to keep ontop of their work. I’ve given the dropped stitch my custom a few times as they’re friendly in there but have no clue how to run their school uniform embroidery service. They just don’t call you back when the item is ready. I’ve been waiting since April for two school cardigans with a logo. The last time I used their service they lost the school cardigans. They assured me in April they’d sorted out their systems. Meanwhile my daughter doesn’t have enough cardigans. I’m really annoyed.
