Was racially profiled by one of the nurses. Rude staff horrible experience. Jack the porter who moved me back to the ward was very inconsiderate and rude and crashed the trolley on numerous occasions

Long wait between boking in and actual procedure. Having the camera shoved down my throat wasn't that bad until I realised it was the same camera that went where the sun don't shine last week 🙃 Luckily, i'm fine from top to bottom, so that's good. Thers a TV in the wating area but no tea/coffee or snacks as you are meant to be empty of everything before the procedure.

Reception, nursing staff, and consultant amazing but waiting time, lack of communication and waiting room dreadful. Waited over 2hrs with some other ladies who were so stressed no one explained why the unit was running so late..The waiting room is cramped, cold and you can hear what is going on in the nearby consulting rooms ( not great for confidentiality) Cant really blame the staff who as always were shortstaffed but please keep us informed and allow patients to remain dressed if they have to wait for over 2hours, to talk to their relatives or have access to the TV / magazines ...Small things that would make these appointments alot less stressful and more bearable maybe.

Not a place you would look forward to visiting but I had to come here recently & feeling naturally very anxious. Met at reception by some very friendly, helpful & compassionate staff who put me at ease. The waiting room was very full but I was taken in within 10 minutes. The whole department is light, bright, airy & comfortably with water fountain and large TV to watch. When I was taken through to change I was given a thorough explanation of what to expect with diagrams & reassured that the procedure was not so bad & would only take a short while. During the procedure I was kept informed what was going on & treated with dignity & respect. A big thank you to all hard working NHS staff.
