Lovely meals. Very substantial portions. A couple of pounds more than average for one course but averages out if a second is added. Makes sense to me as we found that one excellent main each satisfied all 6 of us.

Visited for lunch Tuesday. Very busy, had pre book a table. When we received our meals we knew why, it was fantastic, I had gammon, it came with egg, pineapple, tomato, mushroom and homemade fat chips with skins on, my friend had haddock and prawn mornay and was served with a large dish of mixed fresh vegetables. For dessert I had Strawberry and lime cheesecake, my friend had Chocolate brownie with ice cream, she could also have had it with custard, good job we didn't have a starter we were stuffed, we had a soft drink each, the bill for both of us was £37.70. Definitely value for money everything was perfect including the staff who were attentive and helpful. Definitely be back.
