I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Exeter Royal Albert Memorial Museum and I must say, it was truly a fantastic experience! The museum is one of the grandest things to see in Exeter, with its Victorian building and vast collection of over 1,000 items. The museum is very well maintained, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, providing expert insights on the exhibits. From the natural history and anthropology displays to the fine art and ceramics collections, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The museum also features a cafe, offering a range of delicious food and drink options, perfect for taking a break and relaxing during your visit. But what really sets this museum apart is the incredible Victorian building that it is housed in. The architecture is truly stunning, with intricate details and grand features that transport you back in time. It's no wonder that some say the building has a ghost - the old lady in a white dress - adding an extra layer of intrigue and mystery to the experience. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Exeter Royal Albert Memorial Museum to anyone in the area. It's an experience that should not be missed, and is sure to be enjoyed by visitors of all ages and interests. So why wait? (Translated by Google) I was captivated by this absolutely eclectic but so well thought-out museum, with a modern and well-structured museographic discourse. It has magnetism, it is attractive and with various levels of reading. I went in with no expectations and spent the whole day there. The QRs of the works are not yet activated (sorry!). But they have a mindfulness one that I found interesting. I also recommend taking a break at the cafe with a cappuccino and a biskoff cake. It has two small parks next to it where you can rest and admire everything you've seen. A must visit, without a doubt!
