An excellent airfield with a very friendly welcome from Skyward Aviation who manage visiting aircraft. Plenty of smooth grass runway and a clear approach to Rwy 27. This place is a real gem, and coupled with the free museum in old Control Tower (open on Sundays) well worth a visit and I look forward to returning!

Used to be the site of some brilliant summer air shows. I say 'used', as some people, new incomers most likely, complained about the noise. The local pub did a cracking Sunday roast, though.
