Went to the A&E at about 9:30pm on a Friday night. My older friend had taken a fall and the cut on his head wouldn't stop bleeding. I parked the car in car park 3 for less than 10 minutes and then moved it to free parking. Hope that was correct and don't get a fine as I read 10 minutes are free. Anyway I went in to see how he was doing and saw the waiting time was nearly 6 hours to see a doctor and the waiting area with lots of people waiting. However he went to triage and they stapled and glued him then and there so we were away in no time. Thank you. However, so sad for the other people there and that our hospitals are so stretched. We need a government to sort it out instead of just taking about it.

On the whole not too bad, but. The car parking was terrible, with queues to get on to all of the car parks, which I have never experienced before. I overheard that some patients had been stuck for two hours before getting into the hospital. Then there was the queue to check in. The person managing the queue was so rude and draconian. She made me mad to the point of almost exploding and then I realised I wasn’t the only one. Don’t dare make a mistake knowing when your turn is, they are so onto you and so unforgiving. This left me mad. And this is supposed to be a caring place that gets mental health? Really? I came in to admit my son, I came close to needing to admit me! Other than that, having eventually got in, they were great! Maybe it is time to vote Labour because of the state of our hospitals…

I came to A and E with a severe headache/pressure in my head. Following a high blood pressure reading in the assessment area. I was transferred to the same day emergency care team! This team were exceptional. They assessed me quickly and efficiently, they performed a lumbar puncture on me and spoke me through the procedure brilliantly. Easing my concerns along the way. Thank you so much for what you did for me during a very frightened time. Your particular department from the assessment nurses to the consultant were OUTSTANDING

Got injured in football, turned out I'd fractured my Tibia, Femur, tore my LCL and MCL and ruptured my ACL but they just tried to fob me off as nothing being wrong and said come back in a few weeks. Had to pay for my own MRI in Newport to find out how severely I was hurt which was obvious anyway from looking at my left leg. Went back to Hereford with my results, not even an apology, the doctor just said it was because he's an arm specialist thats why he didnt think I was hurt bad. He followed it by saying 'Welcome to the NHS'. Was told I'd have surgery after 3 months but they lied to me incase I got angry whilst in the hospital, disgusting. 10 months later, still had no treatment or surgery, told I have to wait at least 5 more months. Gone through complaint procedure and escalated to ombudsman and health service. I hope no-one else ever sees Dr A. El Refaiy for your own sake.
