I have been to Rosie Lea tea house a handful of times now, it's a beautiful setting, the gardens are delightful very family friendly! and wonderful views. You are usually welcomed and brought to a seat no problem, the tea and food is absolutely amazing! But I have to say the service time is a real let down - and has been like it on every single visit- perhaps I've just had a strange run of it but the people I have gone with have all thought the same thing. Today I wanted to give it one last try- we came for brunch. Drinks came on time. Two small breakfasts came 40+ mins later. Cool in temperature and had already been put on someone else's table in error, brought back in then out to us. Sorry Rosie Leas but I'm not going to be coming back again if I can help it given it our best shot ! Thanks anyway.

We googled the best lunch in the new forest and found this place- they weren't wrong. Such a beautiful garden setting (you should have a picture of it on a large board outside) very peaceful and relaxed. The service was great, especially the guy who was so warm, welcoming and fun! The food was amazing, especially the quiche of the day, we even managed pudding despite feeling stuffed but didn't want to miss out if it was as good as the main....it was better. Really reasonably priced too. We will be returning soonπ
