This is a quaint hotel with lots of class, unlike many of the newer hotels. The location is perfectly situated in the heart of London's shopping district where one can find loads of high-end designer stores. My room was very large and roomy. Dining options are very nice with Holborn Restaurant, Scarfes Bar, and the Mirror Room offering afternoon tea and British Cuisine. Those three options appeared to be very popular with the locals. I do recommend this hotel.

My stay in the Rosewood Hotel was part of the "Room to Reward" scheme which was a two day break for two in a hotel of my choice kindly given to me by St.Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich. I asked my youngest daughter to accompany me and we were treated with nothing but friendliness, kindness, helpfulness and smiles. All the staff greeted you with a welcome and a smile! Our bedroom had been updated to a family room and was spacious, bright and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. On the table, the manager had left a note saying "Welcome to your London Home!" and there was a bottle of champagne on ice and two delicious pastries to accompany it. We were certainly not expecting this kind and generous act. We had a delicious meal in the dining room on our first evening and the choice of food for both breakfasts was outstanding. The hotel is certainly worthy of its 5 star rating and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a charming and comfortable stay in London.
