Fantastic river side location with superb views! Very few outside tables which are extremely small.The food was very disappointing, basically frozen fish and chips which were deep fried and tasteless!

Friendly pub I have ever seen. And food wah.... I must be honest in this case skin on fries I loved it iam not a fussy guy but I don't know is this is a comment or not but really I loved the skin on fries and fish and chips. I just swapped my chips to fries. I really like and loved the food. Friendly staff everyone I would like to mention @Karan and @netty the staff members. The pub was really busy. Even though they have treated us very well. And I really appreciate there patience the way they received us the table service. And I feel very guilty I should have left some tips but I was in a hurry. I am sure I gonna visit in couple of days. I hope I will see this guy's again. I really love there service. I would like to thank @the manager. Good coordination. I would like to recommend my friends and family to visit. Thank you the rose and crown Wivenhoe ( @greeneking).

Really a good place. They have 6 different ales. And the village ale wiivunhoe ale. I loved it. And I have suggested my friends to visit. And it is really a good place for lunch. I recommend this place
