The stadium is a shambles. Overflowing waste bins, staff in the kitchen and bar clearly don't want to be there. The tannoy system is probably the worst I've ever heard ( or not heard if you get what I mean). Admittedly this was not a Southend United home game but a finals days for Essex clubs. The pitch used to be fabulous but sadly not so now. Parking is a nightmare. A new stadium is planned but allowing the stadium and facilities to get this poor is inexcusable. AVOID

I'd amend this to 5 stars IF there was a bar for away fans in the ground. Was gasping for some football beer. Left empty handed. Bah.
