    My Cercis which I bought at Root One died after 3 years. I phoned the shop to ask if their trees have any sort of guarantee. Chris asked whether I was local, told me to take some photos of the tree and come to the shop so we could "sort something out". Made the 20 minute trip there, only be told the opposite by someone else which was very upsetting, since it's not easy for me to leave the house due to autism, PTSD and recovering from a stroke, but with the advance reassurance that it would be a straightforward interaction, I managed it. The person I spoke to then spoke to their manager, who also came at me, adamant they don't guarantee any of their plants, so not sure why I was told to come to the shop. Very unsympathetic staff and plenty of other suppliers who do offer 5 year or even lifetime guarantees so will be buying from elsewhere in future.

    I visited this garden centre for the first time recently was really impressed. This is a lovely place with a wide range of plants and trees at competitive prices. The staff are very helpful and friendly being pleased to help carry large items to the car.

    Very slow service....to busy chatting to each other. Took ages for food to come out and very overpriced. At 1.45....no jacket potatoes..no curry..no chilli.. made do with a vegan breakfast that came to the table with 2 fried eggs??? A cheese and onion panini of which the side salad was 1thin half slice of cue 2 very thin strips of red pepper and 2 small leaves...and 1 slice of ham egg and chips with a spoon of garden peas. However when the staff did engage they were very friendly. One sausage for the dog £1.75. 🐕 outrageously expensive. We will not visit again.
