We had the most wonderful stay, the whole experience was fantastic from enquiry stage. The Shepherds huts have the most wonderful views and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The owners have thought of every single detail, everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay is here. We toasted marshmallows on the outdoor fire. Highly recommend the breakfast box too! If you are considering booking, just do it. I’m planning to book again for later in the year. Bonus was visiting in lambing season and our 4 year old daughter got to hold the lambs and help feed them. Thank you so much. We will be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay in the Rumwold Shepherd’s hut for our wedding anniversary and can honestly say we will be back again! If you are looking for somewhere to ‘shut off’ and enjoy some time outside then it is certainly worth visiting the huts. The views are incredible and the Boulden family make you feel very welcome on their farm. We were lucky enough to visit during lambing season and have them a hand with bottle feeding which was a lovely experience. The hut itself has everything you need, all you need to do is pack for appropriate weather! It is cosy and comfortable with enough space outside to enjoy the views with a coffee or glass of wine. There are lots of extras you can also add to your stay which are worth a look. Thank you once again for a fab stay 🙂 The Hazle’s

Perfect place for a lovely getaway!the huts are well equipped with everything you need and more !rain and windy outside overnight but it was still so cozy and warm inside !!sheep and chickens all around the hut which was lovely !especially the mad Cockeral!ordered a breakfast box for one morning the sausages ans bacon and eggs were really tasty.great communication from the owners too !!we will be back x

A cosy stay in the heart of the Romney Marsh on a working sheep farm. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a quiet weekend break. The Shepherd huts are beautifully kept with fantastic views facing the open fields, comfy beds and all the necessities provided. Sitting by the wood burning stove or fire pit with a glass of wine at sunset is a must.

I have just spent two of the most wonderful nights with my Mum at the Romney Marsh Shepherds Huts! We were so excited to escape the city and spend some time in the countryside with the sheep. The huts are exactly as described on their website and the reality far exceeded our expectations. They were clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and stylish. There was nothing that we felt was missing. You really wouldn't know that you were staying in a field of sheep if you didn't look out of the window; it was as good as a luxury hotel room. Throughout our stay, we experienced a range of weather conditions, all of which posed no problem for the hut. They are well insulated and stable, so wind and rain were absolutely no problem. In fact, we look forward to visiting again in the winter to make use of the wood-burning stove and hot water bottle! We spent most of the day just enjoying the company of the sheep and lambs, which was very calming and we left feeling recharged. The sheep seem quite tame as they will come up to the huts while you are sitting outside in the little enclosed area, which was exactly what we were hoping for. We can't wait to visit again in the near future!
