Located within the large Gosbeck Archeological parks. I saw this site on the news when they received funding for a new round of archeological studies. We easily found the site of this Theatre and the nearby Temple. Lots of effort has been made to mark out the sites in white lines and provide useful information to visitors. Grass is kept short in the two locations. Once in the site of the theatre, it's features in the landscape became clearly apparent. The park is beautiful, with countryside surrounding it. At the moment they are supporting nesting Skylarks by leaving grass long in places. Be prepared to keep dogs on a lead in much of the park, to protect the nesting sites. Lots more to explore all around this spot, with dozens of footpaths and bridleways crisscrossing it. We parked in the large free public carpark on the parks North West corner. From there you have a map and lots of signs. Well worth a visit.
