    I bought a reel and the wrong spare spool . I contacted Rok Max immediately to inform them of my mistake I also told had already reorded the right spool through them. They refused to refund me . The replacement they sent me was the wrong size spool and when I returned it they finally sent a refund. Not very nice people !

    I bought the Penn Clash 2 4000, Is my first experience with Rok Max Sports Fishing online and would certainly recommend. The reel itself I’ve seen around £200 price point on here was £149.99 The reel I ordered the evening before and was dispatched and delivered extremely quickly. Well packaged too.

    I and my 10 yr old son asked about coarse fishing tackle. We were abruptly told they had none and he hung up the intercom communication. Very rude! We wanted at least to have a look for some hooks etc. Will never return!

    I happily took delivery of two new Avets recently after having first called Allan to discuss the order, everything arrived well packaged and totally intact. The reels are even better than I had expected and I love Avet reels already – I’ve bought enough of them from Rokmax over the years However, the quality and design of the G2 reels is stunning! Avet really have stepped up a notch, and they made really good reels anyway. That MXJ is a beaut!! It’s amazing how they’ve packed so many features into such a small reel, it’s like a little big-game reel with the rod clamp, the ratchet plate etc – it’s an absolutely cracking piece of kit Great advice and service from Allan & the RokMax team - again Avet reels are fantastic

    I was expecting a lot from the website. We went to our local tackle shop and they said we should maybe try here for so more lures and tackle. We spent an age looking for the place and when we found it we where looking forward to checking out a new shop we had not been to before. When we arrived in the shop I asked weather they had any predatory fishing gear for my two kids trying to get into the fishing world. As soon as I asked about that, I was shown the door my children had already started looking round and the worker said to them in an aggressive tone that we had to leave as he had a lot to do. I was only recommended this place and definitely would not recommend to my fishing pears. The website showed that there might be fly fishing gear I just bought a permit on a fly fishing lakes and was going to maybe give salmon a go in scotland. We came and saw a massive wall of flys I was going to go look for some new gear but was shown the door. Was really disappointed and will never recommend
