Our Roger Hyde team was led by Matt Knight who is an incredibly knowledgeable and good guy. The team fitted a fantastic solid wood oak floor in my home as part of a kitchen / living room / entrance fit. They also restored some existing original pine flooring which had been water damaged. They are true craftsmen and whilst there were some inevitable complicated moments they never gave up and delivered a 10/10 job. Would highly recommend.

(the competing quote came in at twice the price and I don't know if they actually knew how to deal with Dinesen). I warmly recommend Roger Hyde for any wood flooring related jobs.

I have odd shaped flooring in my dining area due to the curvature around the original ornate columns. My house was built in the mid 1800's as Catholic Boys school so I was very conscious of keeping to the design and as close to the once dark, deeply grained (but scratched through usage) wooden flooring as possible. The owner understood my passion, why I wanted it to be as close and sympathetic to the overall building and the unique, challenging position he was undertaking. I am overjoyed with the finish. It is as exact as modern, more hard-wearing materials allow, unless I told you, you would not think the floor isn't the actual original one laid, in complete sympathy and restoration. I will not be covering this one with rugs etc it is too beautiful not to share.
