I recently did work experience at this pioneering school for children and young people with SEN. During my time at RGS I got to work closely with both the students and members of staff (especially the therapy team which were the closest thing to real life superheroes) and I was blown away with the positive and welcoming environment at this facility. Each child was valued and appreciated for who they were by the staff who clearly knew them. The headteacher (Louise) was always visible and evidently values her staff and cares for each pupil. She was so easy to talk too, and has such a warm and nurturing aura about her. I could see why the pupils and staff engaged so well with her. She provided amazing opportunities such as the school's first ever DofE expedition which was an absolute success as well as the school's first end of year trip to Chessington theme park. It was prominent all the values of the school were displayed even when not on site. Overall a wonderful experience, and thank you to Roehampton gate school for allowing me to be part of your amazing school. I would highly recommended this school to prospective parents.

This school has changed my child's life! When they started at this school they were anxious, scared and not doing any learning. Now they love school, adore the staff and are learning lots! They have achieved more than I ever imagined they could. Blessed to have found this school :-)

Poorly managed, used unqualified teachers to teach lessons, students were badly behaved, some staff had no understanding of autism whatsoever. The Ofsted Report is not accurate and does not represent the reality of how the school operates.

This school goes above and beyond to get things right. The staff are always so kind and supportive.. If something did not work they would just keep trying again and again, where others in the past have long given up !

Absolutely toxic, invalidating environment. This place has no understanding of mental health whatsoever, they don't know how to deal with autism and LQBTQ+ friendly? I don't think so. My daughter needed more therapy than she did to begin with when she left here... that was 5 years ago now and it still affects her, badly. This place and the staff need to take some accountability for the actual trauma that they cause people. There are several stories I could tell that most people would be disgusted by. Not to mention the unsavoury characters this place seem to hire (one in particular) that my daughter and probably other vulnerable girls also, fell victim to. This person is unbelievably lucky to not be behind bars. But that's another story. Please, if you love your child... do not send them here! This place deserves zero stars, but unfortunately that's not an option.

Loving experience, but there were some nasty bullies in my way, but good for autistics like me, though.
