The work we have had done previous was good but unfortunately for him he's not at all accommodating for the customers needs on when to come, its all on his terms and it's Rory time or no time! When it comes to appointments as some people work shifts! also no chance of getting him on a weekend and very abrasive when it's not on his terns to the point where its find someone else to use,(his words) will not use again I hope this message helps other's.

Although we've used this guy before for annual boiler servicing, this week was the first time I've seen him in action. Firstly, this guy 'knows everything' and certainly isn't interested in anything you have to say, secondly, after witnessing him driving the inner boiler cover screws in at 30 degrees, personally I don't rate him very highly as an engineer (which, according to his business card is what he is). During visit he removed a part which was suspected as being faulty, said he'd have to order a new one and left. Came two days later to fit said part, but couldn't undo the fixing screws which he himself had refitted just 2 days previously, ended up chewing the heads up completely, thanks for that! I offered to lend him a drill bit so he could drill out said screws as he didn't have one. It's when he said he'd have to come back again to do the job that I'd had enough, told him I'd pay him for what he'd done to date. He then started getting abusive and swearing at me, told ME I wasn't an engineer (despite me being a time served toolmaker by trade and working in the industry over 40 years!), apparently, as I'd said I'd worked at JLR, he reckoned that "I just built cars", well even if that's true (which it certainly isn't), I'd trust the guys and gals at JLR who DO actually put those cars together, NOT to chew up screw heads! 5 minutes after he'd gone, I managed to slack off both these screws with an impact driver (a method I'd suggested he use, but like I said, he knows everything...) Anyway, at least now I can get an 'engineer' to come and repair my boiler! 😊😊😊 Service: Heating system repair
