What a wonderful stay and a compliment to a lovely weekend in York. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming, a credit to Premier Inn. We arrived and were given our room, which was a standard room. The room was OK but I wished I'd gone for the Premier plus room. I asked if there was any available and was prepared to pay for an upgrade but they were booked that night. However the next morning reception asked if I still wanted to upgrade I said yes, they upgraded us for free, which I thought was very kind of them. Premier plus rooms are great and I don't think I'll ever go standard again. The adjoining pub The Dormouse. Very busy, very loud and very slow service. You couldn't hear yourself think let alone talk, we left and found somewhere else to eat and enjoyed the rest of our evening. Overall what a wonderful weekend away made even better by the staff of the Premier Inn. Well done to the staff nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be back! Thank you.

Needed a room close to my mum's care home as she very ill,on site said £97, when booked was £121,but it was late and we needed a place to sleep and shower.
