My children are at school in Farnham and their Rocksteady teacher is Dan. They started lessons in January and had their first concert in April with their band the Rocking Robots! I just wanted to say how much my children LOVE their lessons every week and my daughter's school teacher has said she comes back to class "absolutely buzzing!". Both of my children are quite shy and we're not a musical family so I was blown away by their concert. It was brilliant to see how passionate Dan is about music too. Thank you so much!

Our son goes to these lessons at his school. He LOVES it and gets so much from it each week. He really enjoys music and loves learning lyrics and understanding the music being taught. His teacher is also amazing and the children really connect with her. Would 100% recommend letting your children do these with the team working there today. ❤️

Rocksteady is absolutely amazing! My son, now in Year 6, has been doing Rocksteady since he was in Year 3, school stopped it for a while and covid hit, but then it came back in Year 4 and we were so pleased, especially as it was the same band leader, Ash, who returned to the school. My son has thoroughly enjoyed every lesson he has and every song he has learnt to play, he can’t wait for Friday to come because that’s his lesson day, it doesn’t matter that it’s Friday, if lessons fell on a Wednesday, that would be his favourite day instead! As a parent you are kept well informed, you get updates on Backstage on your child’s timeline, so you can see what they’ve been doing, accomplishing and working toward. Concerts are amazing and it’s a great opportunity to build confidence in front of people and show off those new taught skills on their favourite instrument - we had our Christmas concert yesterday and it was great to see all the kids involved encouraged, praised and rewarded, it was also great to see and hear the rest of the school singing and clapping along to the songs. On top of all of this, if your child manages to do well with their instrument, they get a really amazing qualification after so long, my boy was awarded his level 3 in the summer. Personally, I can’t praise Rocksteady enough, it’s been an asset to my boy’s life and he’s built new friendships with his band and band leader in the process. The only thing I will say is, we will miss Rocksteady when we leave Primary school to go to Secondary/High school, it’s seriously something you guys should consider, we’d definitely carry on! Thanks guys, for the awesome opportunity!

We signed our daughter up for this and she enjoys it. However she has returned home on many occasions in the short time she's been doing it with no class occurring. We have now had 3 weeks in a row with no lesson and they haven't refunded the money paid. They only offered £10 as a goodwill gesture. We are cancelling after only 3 months and suggest that no-one signs up to it. They'll take your money quick enough but won't provide a decent service and won't refund you. The account is in my wife's name. I believe at least 2 others have now also cancelled from the same school due to the same problems.

Just tried to book a session for my son who came home very excited to join the band. When going through the booking system places were showing as available and it appeared that the place had been secured for 20 minutes. I decided to call up as I had a couple of questions about the session, but when I came back to select the next screen, the places had been booked and we missed out. Very disappointing.

Unprofessional company! They take a full month's fee but don't turn up for half the month! When raised as an issue, they referred to the T&C's! Any new subscribers, I wouldn't bother!
