Had a really good year of lessons with Dan, made me think more about what I was doing. I was self taught before going to Dan, but in a year of lessons I’ve learned far more than I expected. The confidence to play different genres, development of finger speed and most importantly my theory of music have all improved crazy amounts. He brought fresh ideas into each session and implemented good practice/warmup drills (which I was guilty of not doing too often!) I’m only stoping my lessons due to current circumstances and I would definitely go back when possible. If you want a friendly, solid, knowledgeable tutor, then see Dan at Rockstar, I highly recommend, and look forward to future lessons.

I've been with Dan at Rockstar Tuition for just over a year now and couldn't recommend him more. Very talented guitarist and super knowledgeable when it comes to the theory but most importantly he is a fantastic tutor. Knows how to bring out the best in you and your playing. I thought I would only do lessons for a few months then go on my own but Dan makes the lessons so enjoyable that i still love them and continue to learn and better myself with him directing me.

I went to Dan after a few years of playing guitar and being completely self taught. I was impressed with how quickly Dan got me to think more about how I played as opposed to just playing. I have learnt how to play much more proficiently and get a much better sound out of the guitar (which I wouldn't of even known I could). Whether you are a beginner or experienced guitarist I would highly recommend Dan to bring the hidden Hendrix out of you. 5 stars easy if not more

If you are new to guitar like me, Dan is the guy for you! He is easy going and teaches at your own pace. Makes you feel really at ease when teaching and will help you become a great all round player. From theory to techniques, Dan's lessons has it all! Cannot recommend enough!
