Update 2023 May. I was looking forward to a beer in the Rockin Robin after it's re-opening under new management, but it was closed even though it was advertised as open (issue with gas, not sure if it was heating gas or beer dispense gas) , will have to reduce my star rating until I have sampled the beer and the staff. The lower out side area was completely devoid of any seating or tables. 2022 Great place for a beer or two. This is like a real pub of 40 years ago.

The pub was empty but, beer was excellent the food was very very good. The steak was excellent and the sides were sublime. Would absolutely recommend.

Pleased it is going back to the Duke....I worked there 25 years ago and Colin had it packed, alot has changed since but it will always be the Duke to so many people

I come in on Sundays for the roast dinners and there are super great the roast spuds are brilliant you have a choice of 3 to 4 meats Yorkshires are homemade not shop bought ones brilliant The staff are very friendly and nice home cook food in the week as well which is also very nice and on a Thursday they do a steak night as well Top stars and after a year not one thing as change food is still great as just had a roast dinner turkey and all cook right
