Dined in for 2. We had a pleasant lunch, thanks to the lovely service and excellent selection of beer/ cider. Very appetising selection of appetisers and main dishes. Lovely atmosphere to go with the hearty food. We will definitely be going back often.

Took my brother here as we usually love rockfish, we have been to all of the ones in Devon and always love it. But was really disappointed with the experience today, first of all the service was poor. Waited to get more chips far to long, we had finished by the time they arrived. We were missing a portion at the start also which we had to ask about. No explanation for delay, very poor communication throughout. Also disappointed with the quality of the food, portion sizes small and extremely overpriced. Are server couldn't be less interested if he tried. When you spend 100+ on a meal you expect more, very disappointing.

The fish was well cooked and huge the service was first class it was altogether one of the best fish meals I have had(and I've had a few) would recommend it.. Wheelchair accessibility: I have a problem using stair and here the entrance is all on the level excellent for disabled persons
