Paul put on an alpine training weekend in the lakes where we did some scrambling, multi pitch climbing and crevasses rescue training. Awesome weekend, great fun and very helpful prep for our trip to the alps later this year. Highly recommend!

We had a really special day climbing with Paul in Yorkshire. He suggested Almscliffe Crag near Leeds which was beautiful and felt really peaceful. As a group we had some pretty diverse hopes for our day - we took my 15 year old nephew who loves bouldering and my 6 year old daughter who mainly just wanted to scramble and play and yet Paul somehow kept everyone entertained and challenged at the right level.

We booked a private session with Paul during a recent family stay in the Lake District (2 adults + 14yo & 9yo). This is the second time we’ve used Paul’s company but the first time we’ve met him personally and were not disappointed. Fantastic local and technical knowledge coupled with him being a genuinely nice chap. We loved the gorge walk in a quiet and beautiful spot. Equipment was provided and all felt safe throughout. We were booked onto the Cuillin Ridge experience in Skye. Unfortunately the weather was against us to the traverse was not possible for safety reasons. However, our guide took us up the mountains that were accessible on the day and we had the opportunity to learn rock climbing and scree traversing skills in rough conditions which could save our lives one day. Our guide had quite a special skill in maintaining morale in the whole team as even when we were soaked through we were all still having a great time. Jack also had an in-depth knowledge of the mountain range. We are looking forward to returning and trying again.

Booked a guided climb of the inaccessible pinnacle in the Cuillins on Skye with Paul. He was so helpful and great at answering questions for us on what kit/experience we needed. Very professional and kept a pace up the climb that we were all comfortable With. Offered advice on poles and boots to assist us. An excellent experience. Would highly recommend 🤩

Had the privilege of climbing with Paul in the southern cairngorms. I wanted to gain more experience mountaineering and Paul was the perfect guide to help me do that. I learned so much and grew so much through the whole experience. Paul was very professional and easy going. I felt safe and relaxed during the climbs which meant for a very memorable trip. A great day in the hills! We asked Rock n Ridge to guide us on our first scramble for which we decided to tackle Helvellyn. The weather on the day was far from ideal but we had absolute confidence in our guide John. Despite the bad weather and occasional strong gust of wind we completed the route in one piece and good spirits. Would recomend to anyone looking to take a more challenging route.
