Quality of work: I have had the car back for 8 month and so far have found the timing out, the wrong spec cap on the radiator, the bolts on the exhaust and manifold loos. So am going through full list of the work they did to check how it was finished. An electric window water bag was fitted, as the old bad had gone. The original was pump type. I was not asked if I wanted to go electric and the wiring was very pore. The switched drilled into the dash (again not asked about drilling hold in it) the crimps kept falling off. The cables under the bonnet looked so out of place where not neat and one crimp connecting the cables just pulled apart. I looked like a home DIY job! Other small things like “the oil needed changing”. I was happy for this to be done as its cheap (you would think) but I know it was done to sell the car to only had about 20miles between changes. Cost of work: My car needed work to get through the MOT and full service. This included a full brake rebuild (callipers, master cylinder and one pipe). Part came to £800 with VAT and this was fine. But the £2600 labour was very high for the work done. This was bad, but I was not called to after the work as done to be given this price (not what was agreed). To add to this I was told three time he had called me with price, but changed his mind when I pushed bake and he could see I was getting pissed off. Sad: They were good to talk to and did pick up whenever I called. They looked like they could do a good job and did know there stuff when I asked about the car. Others seem to like them but for me I will not be going back. (my car is not an MG and that may have been the problem)
