I highly recommend using the services provided by Stuart Jones at Robert Simmons Solicitors. Stuart has helped me twice with buying and selling properties and I cannot recommend him enough. He is excellent at his job and extremely thorough with his paperwork and advice. Stuart was able to provide in-depth, accurate advice to me as a qualified lawyer as opposed to the big high street law companies, who are inclined to use legal secretaries for the lions share of their work. Thanks again Stuart.

Highly recommended! We worked with Stuart Jones on our house purchase, and could not have asked for a better conveyancer. Stuart was professional and thorough, making sure we had all the information we needed as we were buying a new build property. He was also realistic, and explained the timescales for each part of the process in the beginning so that we had a realistic expectation. Though it's frustrating as a buyer that things take time during the enquiry stage, because we always knew that Stuart had our best interest at heart we were happy to trust him to ask for the information we really did need. He was then able to explain clearly the most important areas so we understood what we were agreeing to. He always let us know if and when we needed to do something to move the process along too. We have now moved in to our home in time for Christmas, and couldn't be happier! So a huge thank you goes to Stuart! We appreciated all the hard work and will absolutely recommend you to others.

I can not recommend Rebecca Ashton at Robert Simmons highly enough. I recently had a really tough emergency situation I had to deal with in regards to my children, and needed help. She was very professional, and very knowledgeable about my options and responded with great speed and incredible accuracy with almost no notice. She provided reassurance and support that felt very personal, and continued her support throughout the entire process. Thank you so much.

Conveyancing - No Chain Instructed 15 Jan 2020. Full title deeds and paperwork taken to Alton office that day. Their Camberley office was dealing with conveyancing for the purchaser. Their letter dated 24 Feb 2020 (the week we were due to exchange) stated that the Alton office would close on 28 Feb 2020 and we should instruct another firm. There was no phone call or explanation as to why they were pulling out at the 11th hour. The letter also stated that the Camberley office would now primarily be handling dispute resolution and commercial advice rather than conveyancing. After I phoned I was told that, as were close to exchanging, they would continue with the conveyancing. There were constant delays afterwards as the Camberley office seemed to be using a different locum every week for the purchaser. We completed on 24 Apr 2020. My contact David Simpkins appeared to be doing his best for me throughout and no doubt the COVID situation didn’t help but it certainly wasn’t the cause of the delays. It should all have been settled pre lockdown. On 24 Apr 2020 I received a completion statement by email. There was a £1,000.00 retention which I was aware of, but I was never advised of the wording. I have been following this up ever since and have only today (22 Sep) been advised that the retention money has now been passed to me but with a deduction of £246.93 apparently because the previous completion statement was incorrect. Since the initial paperwork I have received no documents by post from Robert Simmons. I have asked on numerous occasions for the return of my original wedding certificate. I have been told today (22 Sep) that it will be posted to me.
