Although I have played guitar (mainly fingerstyle) for many years I always knew my music theory was lacking and holding me back. Within my first six lessons I learnt an incredible amount. It filled so many gaps in my knowledge, answered so many questions I had always had and made a huge difference to my guitar playing and composing. I am 69 so not a fast learner these days but Rob has endless patience and yet is not afraid to push me. He has great knowledge and talent and I would highly recommend him to all ages and ability levels.

Rob has been teaching my 13 year old daughter the bass guitar for the last couple of months. He was very quick to answer queries and we soon organised the first lesson. Rob offers a variety of lessons and as a beginner, we agreed that 30 minutes a week would be enough to start off with. He is very amknowledgeable and has a great set up, having converted his garage into a soundproof music studio (the sound is amazing in there!) My daughter loves going and learning how to play. Rob is laid back yet supportive and he sometimes uses the piano to teach her about notes, octaves etc as she finds it easier to understand, having learnt the keyboard for a couple of years before. In a nutshell, I would highly recommend Rob!

Rob is a great teacher, hes friendly, understanding and covers a wide range of guitar skills and music theory as well has his own studio to run lessons in. He has been a great boost to my guitar playing, even just after the first lesson and I would happily recommend him to anyone looking to learn or looking to sharpen their skills.
