Simply outstanding. I've visited twice this week and expect to do the same next week. Such a genuinely friendly, happy team of people running an establishment streets ahead of the competition. As I mentioned to the owner, prior to my retirement, I travelled the north of England for 25 years on business and have had bacon sandwiches from every outlet in every town from Barnsley to Barnard Castle, but the best of them all was the one I had at Roast.

This little café is a real find - very welcoming to cyclists with a sunny terrace too. Fantastic food - I had the excellent Eggs Florentine on sourdough - Islington brunch has come to Stutton ! The service was super, friendly and swift.
