A great turnout yesterday for the New Year's Day swim in the sea, overseen by Hornsea inshore rescue. Please help support the inshore rescue service when you visit Hornsea, as it relies entirely on fundraising. Hornsea inshore rescue receives no funding from the RNLI or the Government.

Well I've not been able to go in recently as they are having a new building put up as well as an upgraded fishing boat compound and an overdue carpark for the Southend of hornsea when complete everyone will benefit from this , visitor's, fishermen and the R.N.L.I. The inshore rescue boat was launched today but not for real it was a practice run nevertheless every thing is treated seriously the crew benefit from these practice runs plus the tractor that pulls them down to the water's edge and the life boat that sails out the engines are tested, for the engine on one or another to start misfiring is better to show up on a practice run 10th July 2022 been to the inshore rescue centre in Hornsea for snack and drink the staff there are very helpful and friendly and because it was a lovely day it was packed out all proceeds go to the inshore rescue boat and crew 23rd Oct as the weather isn't sure of it's self we popped down to the inshore rescue centre here we had a hot drink and a cheese and ham toasties which is a new line and it was brilliant well worth the money, in the cafe there's a book where they want signatures to support the plans towards making the cafe bigger bringing more tables and chairs for the public
