Done my CBT at RJH and was advised to book on to DAS for the intermediate course. I have passed my theory and did what RJH instructor advised. Booked myself on a condensed intermediate DAS course. I got there on Friday for the first part where I was meet by a different instructor who was surprised that I was advised to skip the transition from 125cc and said that if he doesn’t think I’m ready I wont go on the road and will lose money for the course. Straight away I was getting nervous. We went to the bikes and I felt unease with the lack of support and didn’t feel safe on a bike with that much power. I spoke with the instructor and he said that it is my choice. He spoke with someone in the office and said that if I want to cancel I will lose todays fee but should get a refund for the rest of the course. I went home because I didn’t feel much support from the instructor and when I asked him if I can have another 10 minutes on the bike he said the course finishes at 12 and that he doesn’t have time. I took it on the chin thinking I will loose money for just one session, thought I am doing a sensible thing not causing threat to myself and other road users. After getting home I phoned the office to find out that they were even less helpful. I was told that my next session which was planned for Monday wont get refunded because of their 5 day notice rule. All together I lost £320 because I was misled to believe I was ready for big bikes and due to lack of support from other instructor. I would suggest going with a smaller school who cares for their trainees rather than just making money. Lack of understanding and professionalism, customer service is focused just on sale, since day one I was pushed to go on a full course and spend money. POOR EXPERIENCE is an understatement
