Absolutely love this place. Never seems to be busy but it's a real gem. Fantastic for wildlife, birds, mammals, insects and even amphibians. Plenty of paths to explore and a nice mix of habitats, from open meadow areas to woodland to small lakes. Good to visit any time of yeah, but especially in spring and early summer when the place bursts into life. Great for anyone interested in wildlife, especially children as you're pretty much guaranteed to see something interesting. Wear appropriate footwear as it can get muddy, but it's well worth getting a bit dirty. Car park isn't always open but it is free and there's lay-bys on the road round the side.

It's OK. I fish here sometimes with the W.A.A membership. Little bits of litter here and there which is a shame that lazy people have to do this. There's also alot of the public strolling around with dogs ( had a few baits and boxes rummaged through). Nice place when noones about 👍

Not been for years, but a nice change for a walk with the dog. A little muddy, but to be expected at this time of year and although the case, was well maintained considering the rain we've had. Just need to pay attention to signage, as certain areas require dogs to be on leads 😉
