Nice ambience , service good . Food caters for a bland pallet . So if you prefer the traditional Indian flavours this place isn’t for you. As far as cost was concerned , it was not worth it . Would not go again . 😟

Was tempted in to try the lunch menu by the £15 for two courses advertised on the blackboard outside and the menu displayed outside. However, the menu given to me when I had taken a table was actually £19 for two courses. I had sparkling water and the two courses and the bill came to over £27 (including the “discretionary” service charge. It proved a lot more expensive than I had expected so I feel a bit “suckered” into entering the restaurant. That said, the food was lovely, especially the delicately spiced sea bass and the portions were good.

One sliced onion (20p) with some mixed spices(5p) and 0 skill does not constitute a £4.00 punjab laccha salad its lazy cooking at best and extortion at worst...it tasted how I described it looked how I described it and I was hugely disappointed. This is the second time I've eaten take out after one restaurant visit... The poppadoms nice... nicer than most The ghast very nice and well balanced The rice nice but no better than any other rice Not a £45 per head curry

What a superb experience @ "Riwas" yesterday for lunch. Everything was perfect: the food was lovely & so well presented. The service was discreet & the courses were fully explained. The staff were friendly & went out of their way to accommodate any requests. All in all: a highly recommended restaurant.

Gave Riwaz a second chance, we came about a year ago and thought it was ok. Today it was very disappointing. The kebab platter is definitely not worth the price. Everything was cooked well and mildly spices but there was hardly anything there. Mains were served warm, waited over 10 minutes for service to ask for a hot meal! Dhaal was nice. Kerelan chicken was sickly sweet, we could not finish the portion. Ordered the milk cake for dessert and I think this is one of the worst desserts I have ever had. The components did not work together and the twill tasted off like stale oil. The food was cooked well but nothing was wow or full of flavour as Indian food should be. I don’t we will be returning.
