We were married at Tanfield House in August 2021 and were absolutely thrilled to get married at such a gorgeous location. We were originally due to get married elsewhere but our venue was forced to close down during the Covid-pandemic, but we really landed on our feet with Riverside Wedding Venues. Allanah came to our rescue when we thought we'd never find an available, affordable venue on our (already rearranged once) wedding date but she squeezed us into their already busy schedule. Allanah, Neil and our wedding co-ordinator Keri are friendly, approachable and experts at planning and running bespoke weddings; we can't recommend them enough. Tanfield House is a beautiful location out in the Yorkshire countryside. Having the place for the weekend was the icing on the cake, and our guests all remarked on how beautiful it was. We saw most of them having their own photoshoots in front of the picturesque river and trees during the day! As part of our package we stayed in the Riverside Apartment on site which was clean, well looked after and dog friendly - exactly what we wanted. Chris and Lauren Carter

I cannot recommend Allanah and the whole crew enough! Allanah initially helped us plan our entire wedding at High Leases Farm in just 2 months in January of 2020 for an initial wedding date in July of 2020, which in and of itself was a feat, but we also live in the US! She was prompt with all of her responses, even with a 6 hour time difference! We had many skype meetings to work through every detail. Having delayed our wedding by a year due to COVID we were very excited to finally be able to travel to Yorkshire to have our dream wedding in July of 2021. Allanah was wonderful before the wedding, but she was magnificent once we finally got to England. She made everything run seamlessly and did it all while being a calming presence throughout. Every suggestion she had throughout the entire process was perfect (hair and makeup artists, caterer, videographer, photographer, florist, etc). We would have been lost without her guidance through the whole experience. Allanah, I cannot thank you enough for making our small intimate wedding absolutely perfect! 1000% recommend!

Absolutely beautiful setting, but it's the people involved who make this venue as special as it is. Allanah and Kerry and all involved have a clear passion and dedication to make every couple's wedding extra special. As a wedding supplier who sees what happens behind the scenes at weddings, I can honestly say hand on heart that you really won't find better and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Allanah and Neil thank you so much for all of your hard work leading up to and of course, on our big day. Having waited 18 years to get married, it was typical that when we finally got round to it, we would find ourselves in the middle of a global pandemic, but with your help everything ran so smoothly. With only 5 weeks to arrange our wedding your calm efficiency pulled everything together. From giving us some fantastic contacts for the food, flowers etc. to your amazing efforts on the day, you enabled us to relax and enjoy a wonderful wedding in the most beautiful surroundings at Tanfield House with our family and closest friends. Although the Covid restrictions changed things a little everyone had the most fabulous time and we really felt that we had a more special, intimate and very personal wedding than we would have had in more normal times. Thank you so very much for that. We just need our grown up children to get married at Tanfield House now, so that we can come back and enjoy it all over again!
