Worst experience ever this last week with this Volvo branch. They’ve had my car for a warranty repair for over 3 weeks now. Not once did they update me on progress. Called 3 times last week for an update and was told every time somebody would call me back, which they never did. Received a voicemail late Friday night to say my car was ready to collect so decided to collect Saturday morning (coronation day). Before heading there checked to make sure they were open (website stated they were). Called various numbers to double check they were open but all just rang off. Even double checked with an online Volvo assistant and they assured me the branch was open. So took an Uber anyway, and to my surprise they were actually closed!! It’s now Sunday and my second visit to the branch to be told I can’t have my car because the sales staff can’t find anything to say I can collect my car. 2 sales reps shuffled a few papers about with no real effort in helping in any way. Totally shambolic with zero customer service capabilities !!!

I recently purchased an XC40 from the dealership. The sales part was easy although that’s mainly because I had already test driven a similar car and was just after a certain spec. However, the aftersales has been poor and after waiting two weeks to get some simple information to use the Volvo app, I eventually gave up and asked Volvo directly who gave me the information in less than five minutes. I assume the sales agent just couldn’t be bothered to call Volvo as the car had been sold. Disappointing to say the least and suffice to say I won’t be going back.
