Fantastic views and location, decent food offering. Visited for breakfast, really loved the setting on the riverside and thought the cafe style menu looked decent. The breakfast is nice, the proper butchers sausages are very tasty, and the price at £12 is about average for cafes. Service was good and they brought out extra plates, highchair etc for our little girl, which is always handy. I wouldn't say the food is exceptional but it's definitely a must visit place just for the setting

Went for Breakfast. The staff are slow and useless, the food is overpriced and substandard and its a dreadful service. The boat pricing is hilarious The staff attitude was disgraceful. slow service. Not good value for money. Really poor customer service led to a very upsetting experience. As much as this place looks lovely it really isn't. The waiting staff need to learn etiquette and be less noisy and less talking and standing around, especially the blonde haired one not a good display. They mucked the order up and didn't even bring water when I asked and I waited for my order for almost an hour, although it wasn't that busy and my order was missing sides. My latte was rancid, the milk had gone off complained about this and no apology at all. Also I ordered poached eggs, but was told it was too difficult and tricky for the chef!! In my opinion any good chef should be able to poach an egg! Wouldn't go back, full English, mushrooms burnt, bacon nearly cold, baked beans looked like they were cooking all day and toast not even cooked properly.

Arrived an hour early for lunch, managed to book a table indoors due to the drizzle. Cafe style menu, very enjoyable. Dog friendly! Use this as a base for plenty of other activities!

Very nice food, including the gluten-free afternoon tea and the children's afternoon tea. I'm glad the children got to choose their sandwich fillings and drinks. I'd just say that overall we felt it was expensive. We were full, the children unfortunately weren't. For 5 of us it cost £74. The sandwiches are teeny tiny and the view is okay but the environment of the cafe isn't super lovely, it's just ok. It took three requests to get one of our teas (that was part of the package) but the service in general was friendly and timely. Dietary restrictions: Request gluten-free in advance to make it easier on the day. There is a note on the online booking form.
