I've now tried several fruit&veg boxes and think I'll stick with Riverford for (mainly) 3 reasons: 1. for organic produce, it's really good value. 2. The selection is pretty good and I can customize my box and 3. All packaging can either be returned or composted in my garden. So far I didn't have to throw anything away! :)

Great fresh produce. Yes more expensive than supermarket but for a very good reason. So fresh lasts all week and no waste. Easy to add to your order, try new things and pause order if required. Great!

I can't justify the price of these boxes. I had a box delivered for over £20. When I picked up the same ingredients in larger quantities at the supermarket it came to £8.50. I understand it's organic but not price sustainable as an alternative veg option long term.

i just cooked the most disgusting ribeye steaks from this place it was really really bad. mostly the smell was so disgusting, i always cook steak i have never had anything like this before. i couldn't even cut it, the worst part was i actually tried a piece of it, it was rotten. thanks riverford.
