Just walked down to the Wharfe at Wetherby where there were a lot of people for a weekday lunchtime. Some youngsters were paddling Lots of ducks but no ducklings yet. A beautiful hot day and some folk had purchased special duck food for the ducks. The Sunday silver band concerts have restarted at 2.30 alternate Sundays and they are extremely well supported and a pleasure to attend. Ice cream available. PPP

Right on the riverside tucked by the bridge. Benches and picnic tables. Bandstand. Information boards. Adjacent to the large, free car park. The lovely café nearby is strongly recommended too and it does sell duck bread and duck seed. Bags of duck bread 20p, but though the ducks like bread, bread does not like ducks and is not the recommended feed. Bags of bird seed are 50p. Lots of historic blue plaques abound and make interesting reading.

Excellent really love it here. Sometimes find it hard to believe it's actually Leeds. This morning's walk was lovely and we got the morning sunshine too which is always a bonus. Beautiful part of Leeds. One the best River views looking over to see Salmon jumping I managed to see 1 this morning. And my dog Alfie loves to dig in the little bit of Sand that's under the Bridge. Well worth a visit. Thank you 🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾❤️
